LISLE, ILLINOIS — The Numerical Algorithms Group, Ltd., a provider of mathematical software components to industry and other organizations, has named Ken Kubat to the board of directors of its North American subsidiary NAG, Inc. The appointment is effective immediately.
Kubat, whose previous industry experience includes management positions at Information Resources and Nielsen, joined NAG, Inc. in 2010 and has served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer for the past 15 months. “The recent surge of Big Data and the related uptake of advanced analytical techniques in key markets is driving new demand for reliable, math-driven solutions. NAG delivers precision-based, high quality numerical software, so the increased demand for this expertise is gratifying,” said Kubat. “NAG works with leading-edge analytics providers and practitioners, so we’re delighted by the growth opportunities we’re seeing, particularly with software developers in our retail and finance markets.”
NAG’s primary product is a library of mathematical software components that are easily integrated into analytical models and business applications to provide highly accurate and reliable computation.
