London - Since launching its new website in 2014, Marks & Spencer is giving its customers a more visual, interactive way to shop online. AT&T is providing hosting and application management services to the U.K.-based global department store retailer.
These services help Marks & Spencer enhance its website’s customer experience. They assist the retailer in the creation of online features such as its “Style & Living” section, a dedicated style guide with videos and pictures. The company reported 6.6 million customers have registered to the site since it launched in February 2014.
Marks & Spencer is also using security services from AT&T. The security services help to keep customer information and corporate assets more secure. The AT&T Security Event and Threat Analysis service reduces risk and aids the retailer in responding quickly to security issues.
“The e-commerce platform and security services from AT&T support our multi-channel offering,” said Richard Presant, Marks & Spencer operations manager. “AT&T is helping us build a flexible site that gives our customers a better way to shop online with us.”
