MarineMax reduces loss in Q2

Clearwater, Fla. MarineMax reported a second quarter loss of $6.3 million, compared with a loss of $20.3 million for the same quarter last year.

The recreational boat retailer operated 56 stores in this year’s second quarter, 18 fewer than during second quarter 2009.

MarineMax reported revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $110 million, compared with $130 million for the comparable quarter last year
