Management Moves at Limited, Chico’s

Columbus, Ohio, William R. Loomis, Jr. was elected to the board of Limited Brands, the company said. Loomis has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, and is a former CEO of Lazard LLC. He also held positions with Lehman Brothers Inc. and Citibank NA. Loomis currently serves on the boards of Alcan Inc. and Ripplewood PLC.

In other executive news, Chico’s FAS Inc. promoted Sher Canada to senior VP of Chico’s Stores. She most recently served the retailer as VP of Chico’s Stores. She has more than 25 years of experience in women’s fashion at retailers such as Brooks Fashion, The Wet Seal and Motherhood Maternity.
