Macy's chefs hit the road

NEW YORK —Macy's announced that its "Macy's Chefs A-Go-Go" food truck tour will kick off in Miami on June 28. The first-ever tour will feature a chef from Macy's Culinary Council at each stop. MCC chefs includeCat Cora, Todd English andMarcus Samuelsson.


"We're thrilled to launch 'Macy's Chefs A-Go-Go' food truck tour," saidAmy Kule, Macy's group VP national events and partnershipmarketing. "Our renowned team of culinary experts will hit the road fromcoast-to-coast, meeting fans, making great food and celebrating thereturn of summer. The MCC chefs are an invaluable resource, and the tourgives them the opportunity to meet with foodies and fans across thecountry while sharing their expert advice and recipe ideas."


Kicking off in Miami on June 28 at the Biscayne Triangle Truck Round-Upand continuing through late summer, the Macy's-branded food truck willvisit multiple cities during its nationwide tour including Miami, NewYork, Boston, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Seattle, Portland, SanFrancisco and Los Angeles.


The celebrity chefs will create summer-inspired dishes with the help of KitchenAidappliances, Macy's reported.


The food is free, but Macy's Facebook and Twitter fans willreceive a specialgift at each food truck stop, while supplies last.
