Macy's to award the sweetest tweet

NEW YORK Macy's announced that it will award the most romantic tweeter with the gift of diamonds.

From Feb. 1 to Feb. 13, Twitter users who tweet the sweet messages using the hash tag #SweetestTweets, will be eligible to win a diamond pendant set. On Feb. 14, Macy's said it will award the author of the most romantic tweet the grand prize of a three-stone diamond ring.

“Valentine’s Day is all about expressing love and devotion to friends and family,” said Martine Reardon, Macy’s EVP marketing. “There isn’t a better way to express those emotions than connecting with the people in your life in fun, unique and modern ways. The Sweetest Tweets can be about a declaration of love or about thanking your loved ones for always being there. The possibilities are endless.”
