Macy’s and Finlay Jewelry Extend Agreement
Cincinnati Macy’s announced Monday that jewelry retailer Finlay Enterprises has extended its license agreement with Macy’s Central division to operate stand-alone specialty jewelry stores and licensed jewelry departments for an additional two years; the pact will now run until Jan. 29, 2011.
The Finlay Fine Jewelry Corp. division of Finlay Enterprises operates units and departments in 794 U.S. department stores, including 69 Bailey Banks & Biddle, 32 Carlyle and five Congress specialty jewelry stores.
Macy's Central will contain the previously named Macy's Midwest and Macy's South divisions once a consolidation of the units is complete.
