Mackey wants Whole Foods to be healthy again

Whole Foods founder and CEO, John Mackey, is taking on the issue of obesity by returning Whole Foods to its healthy roots.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Mackey discusses his company's efforts to get customers to make healthier choices when shopping for food. As part of these efforts, Whole Foods this fall will introduce its Healthy Eating Education initiative that will include in-store kiosks to answer questions on healthy eating.
