Lynch to lead Borders Paperchase U.S.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. Borders Group reported that it has appointed Dick Lynch to the new position of president of Paperchase U.S., effective today.

Lynch will be based at Borders Group's Ann Arbor, Mich., headquarters and will report to Timothy Melgund, chief executive of Paperchase Products Limited, which is based in London, England. He will lead strategic planning, merchandising, operations and marketing for the U.S. Paperchase brand.

Prior to joining Borders, Lynch had served since 2002 as evp for Karabus Management. Earlier, Lynch served as president and ceo of E3, a provider of inventory management solutions.
