Lowes upgrades Pro site

8/11/2015

New York -- Lowe's is investing in helping its professional customers save time, money and run their businesses more efficiently.

The home improvement retailer says it used feedback from professional customers, including property management companies, to test and launch an improved Lowesforpros.com. On the upgraded site, Pro customers can make and track purchases of more than 500,000 items to run their business from the convenience of a computer, tablet or smartphone and can choose to buy online and pick-up in-store or have orders delivered directly to their business or jobsite.

Lowe's designed the new LowesForPros.com to be a complete online solution, offering more efficient functionality that allows Pros to develop requisition lists, access purchase history reports and create custom catalogs. These catalogs enable customers, such as property management companies, to maintain their brand and design standards across multiple buyers and locations while saving time creating new orders. The website also allows Pro customers to manage their company spend by setting purchase approvals and providing the ability to process tax-exempt transactions.

The site provides Pros with the most relevant content, offers and industry resources to help grow their businesses, allowing Pros to take 5% off online purchases every day with Lowe's Business Credit and to take advantage of savings for tax-exempt purchases.

"LowesForPros.com helps Pros save time, money and run their businesses as efficiently as possible," said Mike Horn, Lowe's VP of ProServices. "Pros have the ability to buy online and pick-up in-store or have orders delivered directly to their business or jobsite while taking advantage of the 5% discount every day wherever they choose to shop with us – through their mobile device, tablet or computer. This new website was designed by the Pro, for the Pro."
