Lowe's Sets Canadian Debut

Atlanta, Lowe's Cos Inc. said on Wednesday its first three stores in Canada will open the week of Dec. 10. The home improvement chain also said it would open a store in Toronto in January.

Lowe’s previously announced that it would enter Canada with six to 10 stores initially and potentially growing to as many as 100 stores.

Lowe's has also said it plans to open stores in Mexico in 2009.
