Lowe's names deputy general counsel

MOORESVILLE, N.C. Lowe’s announced the promotion of Janet Saura to SVP and deputy general counsel. She will continue to report to Gaither Keener, SVP, general counsel, secretary and chief compliance officer.

In her new role, Saura’s responsibilities include employee relations counseling, government transactions and compliance and certain litigation matters.

Saura joined Lowe’s in 2006 to build a function within the legal department to focus on daily counsel, labor relations and compliance in the employment arena.
