Lowe's names Croom chief risk officer

MOORESVILLE, N.C. Lowe's announced the appointment of Marshall Croom to SVP and chief risk officer, effective January 31. He will report to chairman and CEO Robert Niblock.

In his new role, Croom will provide oversight and direction for the management of all material risks across the company.

Croom most recently served as SVP of merchandising and store support. His prior Lowe's experience also includes SVP of finance, treasurer and assistant treasurer. Croom joined the company in 1997, following an 11-year career with Ernst & Young.
