Lowe’s gives back to education

MOORESVILLE, N.C. Lowe’s and the Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation announced they are donating more than $2.5 million in additional grants to schools and communities in the United States and Canada.

Today, the Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation extended its outreach to education through regional grants for special projects in the United States and Canada. Some of the 2009 regional grants include playground projects, repairing libraries, renovating schools and providing classroom essentials.
