Longs Settles Class-Action Suits Related to CVS Deal

Walnut Creek, Calif. Longs Drug Store Corp. said Wednesday it and CVS Caremark Corp. have agreed to settle class-action lawsuits filed in California related to CVS Caremark's $2.9 billion bid for Longs. In connection with the settlement, Longs agreed to provide more disclosures in its solicitation/recommendation statement.

The settlement still requires court approval.
