Long-time Lowe's exec retires
MOORESVILLE, N.C. Lowe’s Companies announced the retirement of long-time merchandising executive John Kasberger, effective Jan. 31, 2010, and two promotions in its store operations and marketing areas.
Kasberger, SVP and general merchandise manager kitchen and bath, joined Lowe’s in 1991 and has enjoyed a 39-year career in retail and home improvement. Clinton Davis, currently SVP/GMM hardlines, will assume responsibility for kitchen and bath.
Brent Kirby has been promoted to SVP operations-North Central division. Kirby joined Lowe’s in 1986 and has worked since 2005 as VP installed and special order sales.
