LG hosts Coaches Cook-off

INDIANAPOLIS LG announced that during NCAA Final Four weekend, John Calipari, head coach of the University of Kentucky’s men’s basketball team, and Mike Brey, head coach of the University of Notre Dame’s men’s basketball team, participated in the LG Coaches Cook-off to benefit Coaches vs. Cancer.

LG Electronics said it is making a $10,000 donation in both participating coaches’ names to Coaches vs. Cancer, a program that unites the American Cancer Society and the NABC in the fight against cancer.

Peter Reiner, SVP marketing for LG Electronics USA, said, “The LG Coaches Cook-off is an opportunity for LG to give back through Coaches vs. Cancer and to provide basketball fans with a chance to see the personalities of their favorite coaches when they’re not competing on the court.”
