Levitt named president of Fashion Bug

BENSALEM, Pa. Charming Shoppes has announced that Jay Levitt, the former president and ceo of May Merchandising and May Department Stores International, has been appointed president of the company's Fashion Bug brand, effective immediately.

From 2001 through 2005, Levitt was the president and ceo of May Merchandising and May Department Stores International, based in St. Louis. Previously, he had held the position of president and ceo of Robinsons May, following his responsibilities as the general merchandise manager for a number of May divisions over several years. Before joining May, he was a divisional merchandise manager at J.W. Robinsons and The Broadway.
