Levin named to Saks board

NEW YORK Saks today announced that Jerry Levin has been elected to the company’s board of directors as a class I director to fill a vacancy on the board. He will serve on both the audit and finance committees of the company’s board.

Levin is currently chairman and ceo of JW Levin Partners LLC, a New York City-based firm that specializes in the rebuilding of branded consumer product and service companies. In addition, Levin currently serves as chairman of The Sharper Image.
