Lending a hand for flood relief

Target last week announced that it will provide $50,000 in cash and product donations to support flood-relief efforts in the Red River Valley region of Minnesota and North Dakota and the Passaic River Basin of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. As part of this commitment, Target said it will donate $25,000 in cash and products to local disaster-response agencies in both regions.

“Our thoughts are with Target team members and all community members affected by the floods,” said Laysha Ward, president of community relations for Target. "We are grateful for the tremendous work being done by local relief agencies and emergency management officials and will continue to monitor the situation and provide assistance as needed."
