3/15/2017

New leaders are set to take the reins at Pottery Barn and its sister brands.

The company announced that Sandra Stangl, president of Pottery Barn Brands, which includes Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and PBTeen, is resigning from the company on March 31, 2017, after 23 years of service.

In light of what it termed “the evolving needs of the business,” Pottery Barn is restructuring its leadership organization. It has named Marta Benson as president of the Pottery Barn brand, reporting to Laura Alber, CEO of Williams-Sonoma, parent company of Pottery Barn.

Benson joined Williams-Sonoma in 2011 and has served in a variety of positions throughout the company, most recently as executive VP, Pottery Barn merchandising and visual merchandising, since 2015.

Jennifer Kellor has been named president of the Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen brands. She joined Pottery Barn Brands in 1997, and has served as executive VP Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen merchandising and visual merchandising, since 2016.

Jeff Howie has been named executive VP, chief administrative officer, of the Pottery Barn Brands reporting to both Benson and Kellor.
