Leadership change at Sheetz

Altoona, Pa. — David Woodley, VP of sales and marketing for convenience store chain Sheetz, has moved into the executive VP spot vacated by Louie Sheetz.



Woodley has led the Sheetz sales and marketing department since 2005. The transition, effective January 1, as another part of the company's planned leadership changes. Louie announced his retirement shortly after it was made public that Joe S. Sheetz would become president and CEO as Stan Sheetz took the title of chairman of the board.



Woodley started his career with Sheetz in 1983 as a part-time 3rd shift salesperson, working his way into management becoming a store manager, training manager, district manager and director of regional operations. Woodley has played a significant role in the creation of key foodservice programs.
