Latin American restaurant opens at Texas Wal-Mart
DALLAS and BENTONVILLE, Ark. In an effort to reach Hispanic consumers, Wal-Mart has added the Latin American, Pollo Campero restaurant to its Supercenter in Rowlett, Texas and the company is looking to open in more than 20 Wal-Mart locations by the end of 2009, according to reports.
Campero USA, the U.S. division of Pollo Campero, first announced its agreement with Wal-Mart in November 2007.
“We are extremely excited about the relationship between Campero and Wal-Mart,” said Roberto Denegri, president and coo, Campero USA. “People love our chicken once they taste it. The relationship with Wal-Mart gives us an unprecedented opportunity for a wide variety of people to indulge in our distinctive menu.”
