Kwik Trip to install Blockbuster kiosks at its c-stores

New York City Kwik Trip, a convenience store and gas station chain with more than 400 locations across Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin, is placing DVD-rental kiosks operated by NCR Corp. into its locations, according to a Dow Jones report.

NCR will begin installing its kiosks, which are licensed under the Blockbuster Express brand, in Kwik Trip stores beginning next month.

NCR recently said that it aims to reach 10,000 units installed by the end of 2010. NCR is expected to hit 7,000 by the end of June.

The company also plans to begin selling DVDs at its kiosks this summer, though it hasn't yet signed any agreements with movie studios.
