Kroger Reaches Tentative Labor Deal
Cincinnati, Grocery chain Kroger Co. said Wednesday it reached a tentative agreement on a new labor contract with its unionized workers in central Ohio. The contract covers about 10,000 employees who are members of United Food & Commercial Workers Union Local 1059 in Columbus, Ohio. The company said it was told by the union that it will recommend ratification Friday, when it presents the contract to members for approval.
Kroger did not disclose details of the settlement.
