Kroger to move out of Supervalu warehouse

CINCINNATI Kroger will no longer occupy a Detroit warehouse owned by Supervalu, according to reports, and instead will service its Michigan stores from its facility in Delaware Ohio.

Reports indicated that Kroger's agreement with Supervalu expires early this year and that the company expects move all of its inventory to the Delaware warehouse by the end of March.

Kroger also recently named new leadership for its Michigan operations. According to reports, David Brislin, vp of human resources at the Kroger's headquarters, has been named vp of operations. Joe Fey, vp of merchandising of Kroger's Dillon's division, will serve as vp of operations for the chain's Novi Mich. headquarters.
