Kroger looks to grow in Indiana

Indianapolis, Ind. Kroger is looking to grow in Indiana. According to reports, the company's Central Division plans to invest more than $75 million and create more than 250 jobs in Northeast Indiana as part of a strategic capital investment plan.

Over a period of three years, Kroger plans to build three new stores, expand two existing locations and remodel three others. In addition, the company will build up to 10 new fuel centers in the area.

The Kroger Central Division currently operates 153 food stores, 129 pharmacies and 52 fuel centers throughout the Midwest.
