Kroger to issue $300 million in notes

Cincinnati The Kroger Co. will issue $300 million in senior notes, the grocery chain disclosed in a regulatory filing Tuesday.

Kroger plans to use the proceeds from the notes, which are due in 2040, for general corporate purposes.
