Kroger Honored for Hunger Relief Efforts

Cincinnati, Kroger has been named “Grocery Retailer of the Year” by America’s Second Harvest. Kroger, whose various retail divisions work with more than 40 regional food banks affiliated with Second Harvest, has made donations of nearly 120 million lbs. of products valued at $160 million to the organization over the last five years. It is the third time in five years that Kroger has received the award.
