Kroger forms environmental partnership
CINCINNATI Kroger’s Central Division has formed an environmental partnership, according to reports.
The grocer’s partnership with The Grassroots Green organization of Fort Wayne, IN, will be a big step for Kroger to bring awareness to the communities of the northeast Indiana area by selling copies of the ‘Green Living Guide for Northeast Indiana’ in its stores. All of the proceeds will be given to Grassroots Green.
John Elliott, public affairs manager of Kroger’s Central Division, said that working with the environmental group will help support the communities of northeast Indiana through its efforts.
“This is the beginning of an exciting partnership that will allow us to truly make a positive difference for our environment,” Elliott said.
