Kolodzieski to Take Helm at Seiyu

New York City, Seiyu Ltd., a Japanese retailer soon to become a subsidiary of Bentonville, Ark.-based Wal-Mart Stores, appointed Ed Kolodzieski to become president and CEO, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal. He currently is senior VP and COO of Wal-Mart International and has been a Seiyu board member since 2004. Tokyo-based Seiyu also said Wednesday that Wal-Mart would expand its holding to 54%.
