Kohl's inks deal with Claiborne, named exclusive retailer of Dana Buchman brand

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. In a licensing deal announced today, Kohl’s will become the exclusive U.S. retailer for Liz Claiborne's Dana Buchman brand.

The companies said that the line will initially include womens apparel, intimate apparel, accessories, and footwear and will be available in spring 2009 in more than 1,000 Kohls stores nationwide and on Kohls.com. Ultimately, the brand may extend into home, beauty and fragrance categories, the companies reported.

The Dana Buchman brand is an excellent addition to our growing portfolio, and furthers Kohls mission of offering our customers exclusive world-class brands at an exceptional value. 

Under the agreement, the Dana Buchman classic lifestyle brand will be designed by Liz Claiborne. Kohls will lead the manufacturing, production, distribution and marketing of the collection. Dana Buchmans image and likeness is expected to be leveraged in marketing.
