Kingsdown names head of North America sales

MEBANE, N.C. Kingsdown has named Chris Henning president of North America sales. Henning will assume his responsibilities with Kingsdown on Jan. 1, 2008. Henning will report to Pat Flippin, Kingsdown president and coo.

In this newly created position, Henning will be responsible for overseeing all retail channel sales in North America, as well as Mexico, Central America and South America.

Before joining Kingsdown, Henning was the president of Tempur-Pedic’s international retail division, and was responsible for remarkable growth and account acquisition throughout the U.S. and Canada. Prior to this, he was vp of Tempur-Pedic’s Western Division and served on the board of directors for the International Sleep Products Association.
