Target Corp. is tapping into its consumer base, including kids, to stay on an upward trajectory.
Among other initiatives, the retailer is introducing a new line for babies and children—Cat and Jack—after 1,000 kids (ages 4 to 12) weighed in on the designs, reported
Bloomberg Businessweek.
The collection, which replaces all of Target’s other kids’ lines, should be a billion-dollar business from the start, and is poised to become one of the biggest kids' brands in the country, according to the report. It’s a crucial step in the new management’s long-term plan to revitalize Target, with a goal of making it look like Cat & Jack: optimistic, modern, wholesome, inclusive, fun.
