Montreal – Mall-based discount children’s apparel retailer Youngland Kiddie Shops has implemented cloud-based retail technology solutions from Aptos Inc. (formerly Epicor Retail) to improve the customer experience.
With 17 stores under the Kid City banner, Youngland Kiddie Shops is using Aptos retail solutions, including Store and Mobile Store (Point of Sale), CRM, Merchandising, WebIM (inventory management), and Sales Audit to ease customer transactions and increase personalization.

One of the most visible changes consumers will experience is an improved shopping convenience, as associates are now able to create and complete transactions from the sales floor, dressing room, or sidewalk using Aptos Mobile Store. The solution also provides Youngland store personnel greater efficiency in day-to-day inventory management functions such as receiving, shipping, and physical inventory processing.
Further, to ensure relevant and informed engagement via more personalized service, Youngland is leveraging Aptos CRM to collect and track customer data and better understand customers’ buying habits. And to streamline the management of the 15,000-plus SKUs carried by the retailer, Aptos Merchandising is giving Youngland advanced tools for ordering, pricing, distribution, and merchandise management as well as synchronizing and integrating purchasing, pricing, receiving, allocation, replenishment, and inventory management.
