Kelloggs names new investor relations vp

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. Kellogg Co. has announced that Joel Wittenberg has been promoted to corporate vp of treasury and investor relations. In addition to his previous responsibilities overseeing treasury, Wittenberg will now lead Kellogg's investor relations team, serving as the company's primary contact with institutional investors, investment analysts and brokers. He will continue to report to John Bryant, cfo.

Wittenberg was named vice president and treasurer, Kellogg Co. in October 2001. He joined the company in September 2000 as assistant treasurer, with more than 15 years experience in global treasury, financial and commodity risk management, and pension functions. Prior to joining Kellogg Co., he held several key treasury roles with The Dow Chemical Co. and with Armstrong World Industries, where he was vp and treasurer.
