KB Toys names two new buyers

PITTSFIELD, Mass. KB Toys announced today the appointments of Nancy Sheridan Mullen and Stephen Mariconda to buying positions with the company.

Mullen comes to KB Toys from Bed Bath and Beyond and has also served in buying positions with Party City, Bradlees Department Stores and Hills Department Stores, where she was divisional merchandise manager. In her new role, she will head up buying responsibilities for games, electronics, puzzles and more. 

Mariconda returns to KB Toys after holding positions at Jamesway, Binney and Smith, plus buying responsibilities at Rag Shop. Stephen was named Rag Shop's Buyer of the Year for both 2002 and 2003. In his new role, Mariconda will manage crafts, activities, fashion and basic doll areas.
