JVC promotes Sato to president

TOKYO Victor Company of Japan (JVC) has announced that senior managing director, Kunihiko Sato has been promoted to the position of president and representative director, pending approval of the company's board of directors on June 27. Current president Masahiko Terada will assume the post of special senior corporate advisor, also pending board approval.

Sato joined JVC in 1968 as a sales secretary in the company's Aomori sales office and his held various roles throughout the company until assuming his current position in June 2006.
