Juan Pablo wins!

And in racing news, the Target brand notched its first victory of the year on Sunday as Juan Pablo Montoya turned in a dominating performance at New York’s Watkins Glen International racetrack. Montoya, driving the number 42 Target Chevrolet at a race called the, “Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at the Glen,” led 74 of a total of 90 laps.

That Montoya won the event is not a huge surprise as the former Formula One driver typically does well on road coarses such as Watkins Glen which require drivers to do more than make a series of repeating left hand turns around an oval tracks as is the case with most of NASCAR’s other venues. The win at Watkins Glen is Montoya’s first since June 2007.
