Joseph A. Bank Profit Up in 3Q

Hampstead, Md. Joseph A. Bank Clothiers Inc. on Wednesday said its fiscal third-quarter profit rose 32% on an increase in sales.

For the period ended Nov. 1, the company said net income rose to $9.3 million from $7.1 million a year earlier. The company said its sales rose 13.7% in the quarter to $149.3 million from $131.3 million.

Meanwhile, same-store sales rose 7%.
