Jos. A. Bank reaps downturn rewards

Baltimore Menswear retailer Jos. A. Bank has parlayed the economic downturn into an opportunity to roll out aggressive promotions -- such as buy one suit, get two for free -- to lure new shoppers.

According to a Monday report by the Washington Post, Jos. A. Bank -- with its Web site revampment and recent announcement that it would open five pilot outlet stores -- has rallied during the recession.
