John Derian’s hat trick

Designer John Derian returns to Target for the third time next month with a new line of home decor and accessories. The John Derian for Target collection will consist of 100 products priced for less than $25 at select stores and online beginning Sept. 5.

Home decor items include decorative trays, wall art and coasters, as well as stationery items such as mini journal sets and paper organizers. The collection also features fabric-covered storage bins, and tabletop items including ceramic mugs and melamine dinnerware.

“John has created a collection of beautifully designed products at prices our guests will love,” said Stacia Andersen, SVP merchandising for Target. “We are excited to bring him and his unique style back to Target.”

Derian, a New York-based artist, first arrived at Target in 2008 when the company offered his stationery and home decor items and then later that year it featured a holiday assortment of gift wrap, ornaments and serving platters.
