Jo-Ann Stores sales up 5.1% in Q3

HUDSON, Ohio Jo-Ann Stores reported that net sales for the third quarter ended Oct. 30 increased 5.1% to $535.3 million compared with $509.1 million for the same period last year. Same-store sales increased 4.1% versus a same-store sales increase of 4.3% for the third quarter last year.

 Net sales for the nine-month period ended Oct. 30 increased 4.8% to $1.455 billion versus $1.389 billion in the prior year. Same-store sales increased 4.2% for the nine-month period compared with a 2.5% increase for the same period last year.
