J. Crew Profit Up in 3Q

New York City, J.Crew Group reported that its third-quarter net income rose to $26.8 million, compared to $26 million in the same quarter of the year before.

Revenue for the quarter increased 21% to $332.7 million, while total sales increased 16% to $233.6 million. Same-store sales increased 8%.

The company also reported that its operating income increased 44% to $47.7 million compared to $33.2 million in the third quarter of the year before.
