Intrix Technology taps new sales chief

Intrix Technology, a leading payment processor, has named Peter N. Matino as chief sales officer, a newly created position.



In his new role, Matino is responsible for building a nationwide sales organization and executing an integrated sales strategy as well as developing and executing corporate marketing strategies.



Matino has more than 30 years of sales, marketing and leadership expertise in the financial services and technology industries. He most recently served as VP of sales, Western Region, for Computer Services, and SVP of sales and marketing for HEIT (acquired by CSI), where he managed sales and marketing of security, IT management and cloud services to financial institutions.



Prior to HEIT, Matino served in key leadership positions and was responsible for growing client-centric divisions at Alliance Data and MagTek servicing community financial institutions. Matino also spent six years at Visa, responsible for opening new and emerging markets, in addition to 12 years of sales, marketing, finance and sales management at American Express.

Matino has a bachelor's degree in finance from Susquehanna University. He is based in the company's Westminster, Colo., office.
