Int’l Flavor & Fragrances CEO steps down

NEW YORK , N.Y. International Flavors & Fragrances says its chairman and CEO, Robert Amen, plans to step down at the end of September, according to AP.

The company said it has created a temporary office of the CEO, AP reported, with no explanation for Amen's departure.

It says board member Douglas Tough will become non-executive chairman on Oct. 1 and will become CEO no later than the end of the first quarter. Tough currently is CEO and managing director of Ansell.

The temporary CEO office will include CFO Kevin Berryman, Nicolas Mirzayantz, group president of fragrances, and Hernan Vaisman, group president of flavors, according to AP. They will continue in their current executive roles.
