Ingram Micro president departing
SANTA ANA, Calif. Ingram Micro president Kevin Murai announced plans to resign from his position at the end of 2007. According to the technology distributor, Murai is relocating to Toronto to care for his family.
“The timing of my departure is based solely on the needs of my family and was not influenced by any company-related issues,” Murai said in a statement. Alan Monie, president of Ingram Micro Asia-Pacific, will replace Murai on Aug. 1 to start at five-month transition period. Ingram is one of the world’s leading distributors of information technology products.
