Industry vet joins retail investment firm

WESTWOOD, Mass. Investment firm Kairos Capital Partners, announced that Don Jones has joined as general partner. Jones will help the firm provide equity investments and funded debt solutions to retail and consumer products companies throughout North America.

Jones has more than 30 years of experience in the retail industry. He most recently founded and held the position of chairman and ceo of POGAN Retail, whose direct to consumer consulting arm focuses on perfecting the operational platform of companies like The Limited, Liz Claiborne Outlet, Buckler, Sunny’s Goodtime, and Tabitha Geary. Don remains the founder and chairman of POGAN Retail.

Jones has served as senior vp of stores and operations at Gap Inc., and president and ceo of Rufus, where he developed an upscale pet retail concept. Don has also held senior leadership roles at Macy’s, Target Corp., IKEA, Marshall Field’s, Lechmere, Federated Department Stores, TJX and May Company.
