Imerjn integrates cloud with Facebook, Twitter
Imerjn, formerly known as Xumanii International Holdings Corp, is an early stage company that develops and sells mobile software and hardware solutions. It has integrated its cloud with Facebook and Twitter, which will allow users to share files directly from the Imerjn cloud.
"We have been experimenting with this feature for some time. Our users want to be able to share files in different ways. Sometimes they just want to share a large file with a friend or colleague but other times they want to share the file on a social media platform so this feature makes it much easier for our users to do this," CEO Adam Radly said. "We are working on numerous other features that will help us to continue to differentiate our cloud solution."
Imerjn touts itself as the world's first "totally customizable and brandable cloud." It allows its customers to choose their own backgrounds, fonts and colors to customize their cloud however they like.
"True individuals value individual expression and want to be different," Radly added. "People in creative industries that value this — like Web developers, advertising folks, graphic designers, architects, and so on — like the idea of sharing their files with their clients using a branded page that looks like it came from them as opposed to Dropbox or Box."
Businesses can use the same customization features to present their file sharing page to their partners and clients in a way that represents their brand by including their logo, uploading a background image that is consistent with their brand along with numerous other customizations. Imerjn has provided samples of customized cloud file sharing pages that have been setup by individuals and businesses on the website. The Imerjn cloud was launched in March this year.
