IKEA opens in-store hostel

OSLO, Norway Shoppers at the IKEA store in Oslo, Norway will have the chance to spend the night in one of its showrooms free of charge.

From July 23 to July 27, weary customers can rest their heads in a bridal suite, which includes a hanging chandelier and a round bed, or a luxury suite that includes breakfast in bed. Others can share a bunk in the dormitory, while parents and children can stay in a family room.

Guests will be given bathrobes featuring the IKEA Hostel logo and slippers to keep war. Customers will also be allowed to take home their bedsheets as an added souvenir from their stay.
